Dealing with Tensions & Conflict creatively and Constructively
Saturday 17th September 2011. 10am-4pm . Light lunch provided. Fee 20 euro
Susanne Bosch and Dragan Miloshevski will use several creative exercises and critical reflection to highlight the fact that (creative) work in public space and/or with people always provokes, creates and embraces conflict.
What tools and skills can you use to deal with tensions and conflict constructively and creatively? Which role can you play in such settings? A number of creative methods from Augusto Boal, Marshall Rosenberg (Non-Violent Communication) and public art practices will be used. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the participants to creative communication methods from the art field, peace pedagogy and self-reflective learning. We aim to introduce models that people can easily pick up and use in a playful way in daily life.
