Sculpture in the Walled Garden 2010

This year 2010 Hilltown Studio Theatre is delighted to welcome our third resident sculptor in our third year of the Sculpture in the Walled Garden series, Neda Damianova from Bulgaria.Neda will take up the Westmeath County Council artist's residency during August at Hilltown. She studied sculpture at the Bulgarian Art Academy for four years and graduated last year in the class of Prof. Krum Damianov, her father, who is a renowed Bulgarian sculptor. She has exhibited at various exhibitions throughout Bulgaria.

The Sculpture in the Walled Garden project was initiated in 2006 and two sculptures from 2006 and 2008
are currently on permanent display. There will be two further projects in 2010 from France and Bulgaria and
further details will be posted on the website. These projects have been sponsored by Westmeath County Council.
